Our Unforgettable Day at the 17th Hole of the Cannagolf Classic

We wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible day we had at the Cannagolf Classic on August 21st, 2024. If you were there, you probably even heard us around the entire course from our spot at the 17th hole at Northview Golf and Country Club, where A Little Bud brought the party to life. 

Bringing the Best to the 17th Hole

Attending the Cannagolf Classic in 2023 taught us that we had to do something special to stand out. So, we teamed up with Sweet Justice, Versus, Rad and Adults Only as well as Goldkey Volkswagen to transform the 17th hole into the spot of good vibes, great music, and even better cannabis.

Sweet Justice came through with their slushie machine which was a huge hit. These icy, refreshing drinks prepared with the Sweet Justice Beverages were the perfect way to cool down and enjoy a little something extra while out on the course. The slushies weren’t just delicious—they were a conversation starter, a way to bring people together, and a highlight of the day.

Versus kept things rolling with their top-shelf flower and pre-rolls. We saw so many of you light up after taking your shot, enjoying the perfect combination of relaxation and focus. Whether you were looking to unwind or just enhance your game, Versus had something for everyone.

Rad and Adults Only brought their A-game with a selection of vape carts that had everyone talking. We loved seeing golfers try out their different strains, finding their personal favourite as they made their way through the course. We all saw that the vapes were a popular choice before and after the shots. 

 

The Hole-in-One Challenge

Of course, we couldn’t just stop at cannabis, this was the Cannagolf Classic after all! So, we teamed up with Goldkey Volkswagen in Langley to offer a hole-in-one prize that had everyone dreaming big: a brand-new 2024 Volkswagen Atlas. The excitement was real as each golfer stepped up, aiming for that perfect shot that could land them the keys to this stunning SUV.

While we didn’t see anyone drive away in the Atlas that day, the energy around the hole was memorable. The challenge added a thrilling edge to the experience, and we loved watching everyone give it their all.

Keeping the Vibes Right

We made sure the 17th hole was the place to be, thanks to a DJ Dana who kept the music flowing all day long and could be heard around the course building the anticipation of arrival. From upbeat tracks to chill vibes, the music created an atmosphere that was equal parts relaxing and energising. We were proud to see so many hangout long after you all took your shots, just enjoying the beats, the company, and the beautiful surroundings.

For us it wasn’t just about the golf experience, we also wanted to create a space where people could come together, enjoy some fantastic cannabis and just have a good time. From what we heard and saw, it worked. Many of you told us that the 17th hole was the highlight of your day, which makes us incredibly proud.

As A Little Bud continues to grow and expand its offerings, the future looks bright for this innovative and community-driven business. Winning The South Surrey & White Rock Business of the Year award is not just a recognition of past achievements but also a beacon for the future, inspiring Randy Tingskou (owner) and his team to keep pushing boundaries and setting new standards in the cannabis industry.
